yes - 3 times

mostly very quiet with great walking. Much more Spanish and low key in feel than the other Canaries - I really liked it but don't expect too much nightlife! There was a bad fire a few years back which burnt out a lot of the national park which makes up the centre of the island. Hope that helps.
