Can't argue with much of that. However I have had quite an effect on is cultural tastes...

...and that's got a lot to do with me wanting to pass on my knowledge and experiences, but ultimately it's up to him what he does with it (if anything)..

I realise he's quite unusual and amongst his friends he is different and yet still manages to fit in so he's found a balance that works for him...

What I'm saying is, I think, that we need to take some responsibility and pass on this stuff and then they can work out how to appropriate some, or most of it, in to their own lives...
