According to my friend in Utrecht, Haller is by far their best player, and still improving, but not the finished article. He's not sure he'll hit the ground running (and scoring) in the PL, which is a big step up, however. Utrecht are in a financial mess and need to cash in on him ASAP., so he'll be moving somewhere. I guess if he was really good then Wenger or some other euro-savvy manager would have signed him up last year. Would hate Sunderland to sign him ahead of us, but it's a judgement call for the scouts and AN as to how much he's worth to NCFC. Personally, I would prefer low-risk Naismith, who can do it at PL level and would fit in well, if we can get him for sensible money.
OTBC and a win tomorrow! Dangerous time of year for "Trophy" managers.
