I'm surprised Vikings doesn't get a mention

Although I enjoyed Last Kingdom I think Vikings is better. I'm up to episode 7 of Bastard Executioner but IMHO it's not as good. Outlander is another I'd recommend. Set mostly in Jacobite Scotland it's one series of 16 episodes so takes some sticking with. A bit hit and miss and a tough watch at times.
