BBC look at Leicester's title chances by comparing them with Norwich 92/3

Where I disagree with the legend Sutton is I think the pressure DID palpably get to us in December: culminating in an FA Cup tie live before the nation the following month when we were unrecognisable. The confidence had vanished, we looked hopeless, the local press spoke about the season fading into mid-table mediocrity.

What was so special about that side, though, was the way it kept picking itself up and kept winning 'watershed games'. The comeback at Arsenal that started it all off. The fortuitous comeback at Chelsea. 2-1 win v QPR and heroic Bryan Gunn's finest hour immediately following the debacle at Blackburn. 3-2 win at Oldham on a huge night which, had we not won, I've always suspected we'd have begun to fade afterwards.

Immediately following the Spurs Cup game was an extraordinary 4-2 win against Palace when the football was out of this world at times. 3 wins in a row after being written off at the start of March. The 1-0 win v Villa which remains my favourite Norwich City game and victory of all time.

But after United took us to the cleaners, we were so shellshocked that, like a punchdrunk boxer, we only scrambled over the line into 3rd place. I think that side thrived when written off, but couldn't deal with being taken seriously. Huge numbers of successful sides have had similar mentalities down the years: albeit, none as unlikely since have ever threatened for the Premier League title.

Can Leicester do as well as we did? I doubt it. I'm still thinking top 6 in their case; top 4 at a major stretch. It's great to see someone giving us all hope again after so long though.
