It's alleged he's had off field problems for quite a while which I think has caused his huge dip in form on the pitch. Guess his head will be all over the place at the mo.

Likely that he was provoked but he's an experienced player and should know to keep himself out of potential situations. Also regardless of being provoked I can't condone anyone, footballer or not, upper cutting someone to the floor and then carrying on punching if I interpret the story correctly and that is alleged has happened.
