There is witness testimony. All of it suggests he smacked the bloke and none of it suggests it was self defence.

I don't want to see one of our most important players of the last few years in trouble like this but whatever way you look at it his conduct is unacceptable. I think he probably needs a bit of help from the club to sort his head out before he starts playing for us again.
