No I wouldn't but by the same token these players are better than that

We could and should have four or five more points and you could argue the fact we don't is in part (or indeed quite a lot) due to managerial naivety.

I guess it comes down to whether you are prepared to risk relegation in order to allow a promising manager to cut his teeth. I don't think you can blame a premier league club for sacking a manager off the back of a run like that.
