How much should a Health CEO get?

If the level was ?75k would the right person with the skills to lead a large, under resources Health Trust?

I agree that the top whack for a CEO seems high (esp it is higher than Prime Minister). Maybe that should be the pegged rate especially as the highest band for a NHS director only goes up to ?100k
