A small minority do, yes, but most youngsters want to be where the action is...

...and probably have agents telling them they'll be in the shop window more if they're at a more urban or successful club...

Think about it from a band perspective: how many Norwich bands have made it hooooge? None and any individuals that did made a name for themselves by being based in London...

As the excellent Norwich band Sargasso Trio once told me: Norwich isn't on the way to anywhere; to reach it you have to want to go there in the first place...
