Yes, true to a point but what are we achieving now?

So at the moment there are any number of people living in IS controlled areas who don't really support them, but they stay for reasons of their own (be it they don't want to leave home, can't leave, etc). These people while living in fear are at least living, of sorts, with the hope that one day IS will be gone.

So what do we do? Go in and bomb these areas, killing innocent people who may not be supportive and are caught upon the crossfire. This leads to hatred of the coalition by their remaining families who end up supporting IS out of circumstance. Thus breeding more support. If a young kid has just seen that his family have been killed by bombs from the skies, what's he going to think? He's going to want to be a part of what IS is doing. Bombing is breeding a new generation of terrorists in Syria/Iraq faster than IS are in my opinion.
