Anyone got any experience of using Kodi on an Amazon Fire Stick

So my mate reckons he can get Amazon Fire Stick's from his boss for ?35 with Kodi loaded on them, and it would be great for footy etc.

I've never really got to grips with Kodi on either my laptop or via phone etc.

If this Amazon Fire Stick comes loaded with Kodi already on it, should it be simple enough to use and get our games on?

Any thoughts welcome, as I already have a chromecast and stream netflix and showbox etc through that, so this woulfd really only be for footy. Is it worth getting?
