Love what Bill Bryson said when walking the Appalachian trail. Bloke walks up to him to, as BB put it, "talk kit" and said something along the lines of "well Bill what made you buy the Tenson 372 rucksack?". To which BB replied "errrr I thought it'd be easier than carrying all my kit in my arms".
