Carrow Road is the perfect site, 5 minutes from the mainline railway station, 10-15 minutes from city centre...moving the entire operation out to some brownfield junction with a massive car park and a queue of shuttle buses just for the sake of it being an easier/cheaper way to increase capacity, not to mention all the intangible emotive stuff re leaving...

away trips to places like the Ricoh and Madejski may have influenced this thinking
