but I thought he was used as a kind of deep lying playmaker - a bit like how we used to play Fox. But we were took weak defensively so have gone with a couple of more solid defensive minded players.
Perhaps Dorrans will get back in as a deeper midfielder against one of the weaker sides, but I think against most teams - especially away - his main position will be in the advanced midfielder role.
I guess we'll find out. Maybe it's just that Neil rates Mulumbu higher, and Dorrans was never first choice when everyone is fit. Although that doesn't explain why O'Neil seems to have jumped ahead of him.
