I disagree. Their enemy is anybody who doesn't think the same way whether that be other

Muslims or Christians or Jews or atheists or Hindus etc etc.

And whether they are in Europe or Syria they are all ideology driven. Disenfranchised youth is just the target group for recruitment and I would think that's the same in The Middle East as well as in Europe.

And yes I do think people are reacting as though it is a "traditional" terrorist group. Sadly at least on social media I'm seeing s**tloads of racism toward Muslims and loads of shouting about how not scared we are. I don't think they give a f**k about whether we are scared or not. They only want us to be scared enough to become more and more suspicious of Islam and therefore create even more disenfranchised youth to recruit.
