Player management

The thought when he was with us was that he was a genius at getting players to punch above their weight but we'd no idea what he'd be like at managing big time Charlies. Villa, even allowing for the daft regime, seemed to cause him problems in that area. Perhaps that's why unlike a lot of Premier managers, he's happy to drop a level so that he can work with a squad he can shape again.
