Mind. Paris has a similar situation with les banleues (sp?) which are basically no go zones for most Parisians.

I appreciate this is not an easy situation to rectify because it's something that has built up over years and years but in many of these areas there is effectively segregation in terms of the schooling of kids and it just seems to me it is all creating a massively divided society which these hate preachers are able to exploit.
