Just thought it says a lot. Someone of his profile can't really take time off to be there for his father like people might be able to in slightly less demanding roles and with more understanding and supportive bosses etc

It's bound to have had an effect on him this season. Sounds like he needs a bit of a break from football tbf - I don't particularly like the guy, but family stuff does make it harder to perform at peak performance
