I was one of the ones saying he should be dropped after last week, but he did well today. Granted he didn't have much to do and his defence worked well in front of him, but he commanded his area and distributed the ball well. There was one dodgy moment when Bassong let the ball run for him in the first half and he didn't react, but that didn't dent his confidence. Hopefully the clear threat to his position that Rudd now poses can drive him on to more clean sheets.
