I know we're all 'sponsored out' with so many charity events and stuff.... But the Wrath have been amazing for my missus Jacqui before (sponsored swim for The Nystagmous Network - as our daughter is partially sighted) and we really hope The Wrath of The Norwich may again rise to the occassion!
Some of you may remember my 18 yr old nephew is very ill and now had an entire lung removed because of cancer a week or so ago and is in recovery..... Some of you may remember my brother (city fan in cambridge) and i took him out in norwich for his 18th in the summer - we met up with Splat from the Wrath and a few mates and gave Toby a night out to remember.....
Some of you may remember we thought he was clear, so celebrated with him like it was '1999!' - sadly it wasnt and so the fight continues.....
Recently, as i feel totally useless and not just a crap uncle but a crap brother to his dad, i wanted to take Tobes to see Arsenal, his fave team (i know i know!!) at Carrow Rd end of Nov..... The only way to secure two tickets is to do the corporate thing therefore shelved out ?500 to take him. Whilst not many of us have ?500 to blow on a footy match its more for me i guess, to relieve the guilt i feel about not being there for my bro and his boy. The day will create memories that will live with us forever.
My missus wants to doher bit too - whilst i'm a selfish t**t and spending ?500 on tobes and I my missus would like to raise an equal amount for the Teenage Cancer Trust who have helped my family enoumously. She also wants to get fit and back in her wedding dress again!! So therefore 'win win!'
Anything any can give will be greatfully received.
Sincerely.
Chelts
