The connection? In around 1997 Noon donated (not loaned, not advanced, gave) 100k to NCFC because of his friendship with Delia. Bearing in mind our annual turnover was only around 6 million at that time, and we were making a 600k loss per season, that was a chunk of change.

And in other news, Hooper wasn't asked to move from the Hillsborough bench last night. That's ten mins (out of 190) he has played, so far. The chances of getting a fee for him in January recede ever further!
