Hmmm. Reasonable, but as you say, types of chance.

The Newcastle game was a bit of a freak - 6 shots on target, 6 goals - and I don't think Ruddy had a chance of saving any of them. Maybe every now and then a keeper will pull off a miracle save, but with those 6 surely there's a slight skew on those stats. If I remember correctly the 3 Southampton goals he didn't have much of a chance with either. That's over a third of our goals right there.

I'm not happy clapping defending Ruddy, but as you say, stats don't tell the whole story.
