He has my full support. I would like nothing more than to see him back to his best. But I share your intuition and I also think his lack of confidence transmits to the defence in front of him.

Clubs like us really need a keeper who earns us extra points. Over the last two years we have had several keepers produce unbelievable displays against U.S. and win their side points. Butland and Westwood two who spring to mind plus that ex scum loanee who plays against us four times a season!
