He is a good man but the reality is he's not been fabulous for us much for some time now

This season can maybe only really say Liverpool away is a game where he has won us points and whilst he had not had too many overt howlers his s**ts to goals ratio for the last two seasons has been really poor and he does not come for as many crosses as I would like. When you have defenders whose marking is perhaps not the best anyway you really need a keeper who takes pressure off them and who comes and makes crosses his own. Ruddy isn't doing that.

A good example is perhaps West Ham away where their equaliser came from a cross he could and should have caught and there were s couple of other similar crosses in that last ten minutes which caused similar carnage in our six yard box.

Not saying Rudd is a world beater but every time I've seen him play he's been vocal, confident, quick to come off his line and also pulls off the odd save where you think he has no right to do so. I think he deserves a chance and I think Ruddy deserves a spell on the bench.
