Thanks. Would add that we've only had it for 1 and a bit months so don't think it is 4G...

...as that was obviously around before then. The guy that installed it all didn't seem the brightest so perhaps he messed something up; he was asking me how to set up our new telly and I told him that we had paid extra for BT to do that when they installed the My View box etc...

At least I now know it is is not normal so shall put a call out anyway...
