which seems to be what Neil wants to do. Lambert did it, but that was built around the motivation and hunger of a group of players playing above their level when they got their chance in the Prem - not sure we can repeat that with the squad we have.

I think ultimately Neil may have to compromise his attacking style slightly and grind out a few results - particularly as we will start to have six pointers towards the end of the season. If you conistently try to go toe to toe against well organised teams with better players, you'll generally lose.

Can't think of many newly promoted sides that have stayed up and established themselves in the Prem through playing an attacking style in recent years. The likes of West Ham, Southampton, Palace and even Swansea in their first year, were primarily solid and hard to beat.
