I think I prefer it

the alternative is (probably) being someone like Villa of recent years where every season is a struggle against relegation woith some pretty unattractive football being dished up most of the time and a handful of victories each season. There was a Villan on the radio the other day who didn't seem to have had a fun few years watching his team.

At least yo yoing, you get the odd fun season bossing the Champs to liven things up a bit.
