Lambert and Neil were good appointments. I give Mcnally credit for them. But

You then slightly undo all the good work when you get a promising manager like Neil and you don;t back him with the players he needs to give us the best chance of survival. And the really frustrating thing is that its not like we needed 5 or 6 players, maybe just one decent CB would have been enough (although ideally a RB as well). We appear to have shot ourselves in the foot for the sake of saving what by premier league standards is not huge money.

Real mixed bag our board. They get some things very right and Michael, Delia and Foulger are good people but when the chips are down or it comes to the crunch decisions that make the difference between staying up and going down we just seem to lose the plot a bit or play it safe rather than take a bit of a risk with an eye on long term gain.
