More possession, more efforts on goal, some good chances. Various elements of our game were good enough to potentially give us a platform to win that game and a side scoring two, hitting the post and having various other decent chances away from home should be coming away with something. I think we would have got at least a point if he'd not taken Tettey off. As bad as our defenders are, that was the biggest f**k up of the day.

If you have defenders who are sub standard (or indeed even if you have good defenders) you have to give them adequate protection. You may be able to get away with tactics like that in the SPL but in the premier league even quite sh*t teams like Newcastle have enough quality going forward to take advantage which is what they did.
