at West ham: 57% possession, 16 shots for, 19 shots against

Wes's inclusion would have made no difference yesterday, as was demonstrated when he came on. We gave our defence no protection at West Ham either (but they only stuck two of their chances in so everyone overlooks it and says we played great). Only difference between the games was that yesterday all Newcastle's shots on target went in.

We actually attacked better yesterday than we did at West Ham (we scored twice, hot the woodwork twice and had one cleared off the line)
