Weird game, may be a blessing in the long run

We probably had as much possession and as many decent chances.

Lessons:

1. Whitaker is no where near good enough.
2. Martin is still awful at centre back. His instincts are just wrong. His tracking for the fourth in particular was a joke.
3. Do not ever take Tettey off when you have no other defensive midfielders on. Joke substitution.
4. We still look decent going forward and have enough about us in that respect to stay up.

Our points return is now poor from the fixtures we have had and it's pretty much all down to our p*ss poor defending. We all feared as much on transfer deadline day. McNally failed and has let us down. That said we could still defend far better with what we have.
