This time exactly last week I was photographing a WW2 veteran in a Brisbane hospital,

Just received a phone call from his son to say that he passed away overnight. He thanked me for taking the last ever photograph of his father and giving them a beautiful print to remember him by.

It's sad news to hear but at least we've given the family something to remember him by.
