Police all over the news recently. The guy in the flat below me had

his place turned upside down by the police on Monday. They bust their way through his front door and trashed the place confiscating a laptop and mobile phone, opening mail and generally messing everything up

He comes home, and they ask him questions about fraud online. He doesn't know what they're on about. They say they don't believe him. Then claim his name is made up. Then claim his sons name is made up. So he gets some of his sons military awards out. Them "you made these"

When they took my neighbours phone, he said to them "now you've trashed my blood taking things for the doctor, and I don't know the order of the 50 pills I take each day cos my kidney functions at 5% and I'm waiting for a lung transplant, you're now going to take my only lifeline in case I fall ill?"

They didn't care about this. At this point he told them they'll hearing from his solicitor

Stay classy plod

This could happen to any of us at any point if a fraudster choses our address to conduct crime

It's great to know this fine bastion of society will be there to treat and serve us so well

Up the plod I say !
