For some reason the Villa away game from that season is seared into my brain

There've been other truly s**te days - another as part of maybe 2-300 idiots on a freezing cold day watching us lose at Fulham springs to mind - but Villa away was truly soul-sapping. I've never left a game early but I was very very close to walking out of that one.
