The lack of safety features in my TVR saved my life

I aquaplaned on the M1 at about 80ish on a slight bend in the outside lane, that sent me into the central reservation.

The lack of crumple zones and solid chassis meant instead of destroying the front of the car and sending it out of control, I bounced off the wall.

The lack of airbags meant I was able to hold the car in a straight line instead of going underneath the lorry alongside me

Tbf with traction control it probably wouldn't have happened in the first place
