all birds are protected by law in the uk and can only be controlled under licence

to kill any bird you need to have your toff licence or pest control killing certificate. if howson had pulled out a massive handgun and blown the pigeons head off, then not only would he risk a yellow card but plod would have knicked him after the game. he did the right thing. in my opinion.
