this is quite a common complaint across many clubs isn't it?

Difficult for any given premier academy to produce first-team-ready players when clubs parachute in established foreigners/starlets from the lower leagues, and its difficult for any given Championship academy to produce first-team-ready players when clubs parachute in loanees from premier academies/established foreigners/starlets from the lower leagues, etc etc down the pyramid.
