Well, they didn't win.

Speculate as much as you like about why they didn't - I expect it was mainly because the opposition was a pretty boy of the type that is very in vogue with realtiy tv show voters, but I also suspect that a non-trivial part of the reason was because "I'm not having a darkie winning".
