Watched world cups and euro championships in there when I was at uni - used to be jam packed - you may need to book a table obviously if it's a saturday night though and check whether Brighton are playing at home that day in case there are football fans out and about on town.

I remember dirty Leeds doing some damage one season, but then they are Leeds - same probably applies to teams like Millwall although as they're not in the same league anymore would have to be a cup game etc
