Like most people, I have watched a number of news reports....

over the past few days.

The media on average is not showing the true picture when reporting.... but their pictures do.

If you look at the migrants, they are mostly men 20-35
They constantly try and highlight the few family groups because it is emotional.

Its been suggested that all countries in the EU do their share of taking in people.

based on the evidence we have...... most have no interest in going to a lot of these countries because they dont get as good a financial deal as countries like Germany and the UK.

Today the migrants that came out of Hungary were/are treated incrediblely well by the people of Austria.
Im guessing almost zero will apply for sanctury there.

The trouble is its hard to make rational arguments or ask reasonable questions when they are countered by pictures of dead children.

Like most people with families it upset me too.

But the answer to stop it happening again has to be making sure more people are not getting in s**tty boats.
The rich gulf nations have to do more to set up places where people can live in safety.

While there seems to be a huge reward for making these hazrdous trips, many will continue to think the risks are worth it.
By helping some now, we might be killing many more down the line.

There are no black and white answers.
The world is full of grey areas.
