Huckerby was released by Roeder one year after winning in 2007

Doherty won in 2006, but I guess you could say he was more of a curse on the club really.

Fleming won in 2004 and never really performed well again after that.

Marshall won in 2001 and left on a bosman to the scum.

Maybe we should just cancel the award...
