With a neutral return on deals during this transfer window (although with increased wages), the money from the Premiership TV deal and increased ticket and commercial revenue, I expect that as a shareholder I'll receive a significant dividend payment on my shares!
Good news. I'll be planning a luxury holiday next year.
Oh hang on CC. I bought into this to initially then help raise cash to save the Club and the financial plan that 'all available funds will be invested in the football side of the business'. I also recall a commitment to a co-operative cost / revenue neutral business, and 'prudence with ambition' etc.
After today's dealings I again see much prudence, but struggling to locate any of the ambition.
Presume the Board will be dancing to a few tunes tonight - Pink Floyd 'Money', mixed with a bit of Abba's 'Money Money Money' and the Flying Lizards 'Money'.
Disappointed.
Oh and the BBC's new Home Page is crap too!
off to bang head on the kitchen table.
