If we want to cancel it mid-term we are still liable for the full whack. I would have thought the same applies to Grabban's contract.
Hence why if he puts in a transfer request, perhaps he loses the value of the rest of his contractual wages with us. Unless Bournemouth were to at least compensate him for that. Not sure if that's the purpose of a signing on fee though?
Still don't think Grabban would be happy to get fired and technically become a free agent unless he will be financially unaffected by it adversely.
Bought by another club sounds to be the best solution for him given the circumstances, but technically Norwich don't have to sell him.
