For me Grabban gets in my team ahead of RVW everytime, especially in a team that plays with 1 upfront. The modern forward has to close down from the front which Grabban does well. He run the channels well, holds the ball up and has more pace than RVW. Ricky seems to me a Box player, a player similar to Lineker who offers no more than the ability to finish.
If we gave RVW a long run in the team then maybe he would find his Mojo and get a few goals. When I watched him pre-season against West Ham RVW was woefull, he looks like he was several yards short of confidence.
The other thing is although RVW hasn't walked out on the team but I reckon he is just as keen to leave this club as Grabban is.
I hope both players stay and I wish they could both prove to be legends at the club but the reality is I doubt either will be remembered much after they both leave. (Possibly soon)
