Glen Murray/Jerome

Ok i must confess my first reaction to hearing we are in for Murray was to be underwhelmed and I still think all these bids for different players is a sign we are a bit of a shambles in the transfer market this summer but:

1. his goal record is very decent indeed, even at premier league level.

2. Unless my mind is playing tricks on me did he not play as a very effective partnership with Jerome during Palace's meteoric rise up the premier league during the second half of the season two years ago? I don;t think Jerome scored many but they dovetailed pretty well and Murray did get quite a few.
