Isn't it great that we're bemoaning the number of missed chances?

This is exactly how AN said we'd play, and exactly what the pundits thought we would lack.

On another day half a dozen of those chances could have ended up as goals, and it wouldn't have flattered us. Butland was outstanding, but we more than matched a team who've spent nearly a decade in the Premier League and contain Champions League winners.

We have still to see Olsson back, Brady in his preferred position and Mulumbu to add some muscle in midfield. Perhaps a couple of new signings to add to strength in depth and cover for injuries, but considering we're not even at full strength at the moment but competing well gives me renewed optimism that we'll do more than alright. It will be tough, but we are more than capable of averaging at the very least a point per game... and I believe a finish around 12th is not at all unrealistic.
