The world lost a great NCFC fan today.
Didn't want to say really but been wrathing from the N&N all week. Papa Lurd passed away peacefully today after a short battle with the big C.
He was a City fan all his life, went to most games over the last 60 years, along with his best mate Roy Waller and took me to my first game about 25 years ago. Breaks my heart and warms it in equal measures was that his final game was seeing us win at Wembley.
Let's hope we do another big win today. Me and my bro are going to go along with Mum as I think he'd have wanted it.
