what he might objectively be worth though

isn't the same as what he is worth to us. We have tried in our last 2 prem seasons to sign numerous players to take us to the next level and we just can't - they're not interested in coming.

Why would we sell a player that we currently have who could take us to the next level for 10m? It makes no sense.
