Yeh next summer will be the tricky one to keep hold of him

Really hope he sees his development under SAN as a massive reason for staying (providing SAN doesn't leave too of course, unlikely, fingers crossed!)

He found it hard to leave Birmingham and only really did because he knew Hughton and they were having to sell to get funds. Its likely he would have stayed there otherwise, at least for another year or two, to develop further.

I guess the big pull, apart from money of course (which I don't think is his number one priority right now, developing now will earn him more in the long run anyway if he's smart) would be if playing for a top 6/10 side earns him more recognition from Woy and a place in the England full setup.

We shall see. But he definitely does seem like he has his head firmly screwed on for now, unlike the Sterlings of this world. Hopefully both SAN and Southgate (even Hughton, who knows) will provide sensible advice in their roles as mentors to him.
